In our circa 1845 brick federal-style home with original walnut and faux painted woodwork, we continue to honor the legacy of our founders by providing warm hospitality and comfortable accommodations.

We offer spacious accommodations with private en-suite bathrooms to provide a relaxing and restful experience.  Each of our rooms is uniquely decorated and designed with historic charm.

Relax or dine in our beautiful outdoor space. In spring, the gardens are alive with bleeding hearts, coral bells and phlox. Summer brings daylilies, roses and an abundance of summer annuals. Florals are replaced by foliage of all colors in the autumn months.

Nestled in the quaint village of Amanda, Ohio, Dum-Ford House offers a peaceful and serene setting. The village is adjacent to the historic Zane's Trace (now U.S. 22), midway between the cities of Lancaster and Circleville and just thirty minutes from Columbus, Chillicothe, or the Hocking Hills.
